SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (News4Utah) – The days are getting longer, and the weather is getting warmer. That means it’s time for the return of Friday Night Flicks!

This summer organizers will be showing eight movies in a variety of SLC parks for FREE. The movie theme this summer is Family Favorites That Are Out Of This World.

All movies are kid and family friendly. The event offers free popcorn while supplies last. A food truck from The Food Truck League will be on site for each event.

The public is encouraged  to bring blankets, pillows, picnics, friends, and family for the films. Other activities planned at each event include giveaways, trivia, and lawn games provided by Salt Lake City Events.
