Elderly woman killed in two-vehicle rollover crash in Logan

LOGAN, Utah (News4Utah) – An elderly woman died after a two-car rollover in Logan Saturday afternoon. 

Police in Logan were dispatched to the crash that occurred near 700 S. 100 East just before noon when it appears a woman had stopped at the stop sign at Gateway Drive and 100 East then proceeded into the intersection. The driver failed to see a SUV that was headed south and clipped the back end of the vehicle, causing it to roll multiple times. 

An elderly woman who was a passenger in the SUV and suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene. 

There were two men in the front of the SUV who were taken to the area hospital in an unknown condition. 

The woman who caused the crash was traveling with her children. None of whom were injured. 

The crash is still under investigation. Police have not released the name of the woman who died.
