EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah (ABC4 News) – An Eagle Mountain man was arrested Wednesday on felony child pornography charges.
On April 7th, the Special Victims Unit and the F.B.I. Child Exploitation Task Force discovered that an address in Eagle Mountain had been viewing and downloading child pornography.
On Wednesday, FBI and the Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant and arrested 31-year-old Michael Christopher Skakie.
Investigators said Skakie had photos and video depicting young girls being raped and sodomized. During an interview, Skakie admitted he had been downloading this kind of material for the previous 15 years.
Skakie was booked into the Utah County Jail with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony.
