SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Utah Jazz point guard Donovan Mitchell gave his team shoes to a little boy at Monday night’s game against the Detroit Pistons.

Mitchell was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the 2017 NBA draft and later traded to the Utah Jazz. Mitchell was named NBA All-Rookie First Team and won the 2018 Slam Dunk contest.

The young boy from South Jordan’s night and maybe year was made by Mitchell’s gesture.

Mitchell has a reputation of community involvement, he isn’t a stranger to local high school basketball games or local Utah hangouts.
