SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) Legendary actor Dick Van Dyke will come to Utah this fall for the fifth annual Salt Lake Comic Con.
The 91-year-old is the latest guest to join the state’s most popular convention in September.
With a career spanning 70 years on TV and film, Van Dyke is most known for his starring role as “Burt” in Mary Poppins. Alongside Julie Andrews, the pair earned a Grammy award for the film’s soundtrack.
He also starred in five seasons of ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show,’ is the recipient of five primetime Emmys and a Tony.
He was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1995 and received a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award in 2013.
Van Dyke joins 33 guests to Salt Lake ComicCon 2017, including Hall of Fame and Magic: The Gathering artists, best-selling authors, and stars from Guardians of the Galaxy, Back to the Future, Boy Meets World, Firefly, Doctor Who, Batman Forever, Star Trek, Smallville, Psych and The Walking Dead.
The event will be held September 21-23.
