CEDAR FORT, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- Detectives in Utah County are looking for the owner of three bronze sculptures found near Cedar Fort. Sgt. Spencer Cannon said it has been two years since the sculptures were found and detectives still don’t know who they belong to.
They say in 2015, a man called deputies after he found the sculptures hidden under some sagebrush while he was looking for deer antlers. “The sculptures depict young children engaged in various activities. One of them depicts a young child happily riding on a large snail,” Sgt. Cannon said.
Each of them stand about 2 to 3 feet high and Cannon says they are valued around $5,000 each.
Anyone who may have information that could help in identifying the owner is asked to call the Utah County Sheriff’s Office at (801)851-4010. If you call after hours or on weekends then leave a message and a Detective will return your call.
