SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Salt Lake County Division of Wildlife Resources are looking for a deer roaming around with a arrow sticking out its shoulder.
The deer has been limping around Oak Hills in Salt Lake City, east of the Hogle Zoo. The deer was most recently seen Friday by residents who live in the neighborhood.
Officials have concluded from the photo of the dear that the arrow stuck the deer in its shoulder blade. If the arrow hasn’t gone too deep into the tissue it is likely the wound will fester and push the arrow out.
The Division of Wildlife Resources is asking for the public’s help in locating the deer, if you have seen it please reach out to Salt Lake Police Department dispatch.
