SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Hundreds of dancer’s fight childhood hunger in Utah at the Peanut Butter Jamm event on Saturday.
The event was held at the Gallivan Center, one jar of peanut butter was required at entry. All donated food will work towards feeding Utah’s hungry children.
The event had a Master Hip Hop Class and 2 vs 2 Open Style Battles for Jr. & Sr. dancers to compete for cash and prizes.
The Peanut Butter Jamm was sponsored by Will Dance For Kids Project, Chick- fil-A, Millennium SLC & The Bboy Fed.
Will Dance for Kids Project donated $338,000 and over 40,000 lbs of food in the past seven years to the Kid’s Programs at Utah Food Bank.
