Crews quickly knock down Taylorsville house fire

Local News

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (News4Utah) – Dozens of firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire in Taylorsville where damage was so bad the roof of the home partially collapsed.

This fire broke out around 8 p.m. and neighbors called authorities once they saw the house at 2812 West 6100 South was on fire.

When crews arrived, they found fire coming from the roof in the rear of the structure. Thankfully, no one was home at the time, but that’s also why investigators believe it had been burning for some time.

There was a dog inside the home, but firefighters were able to rescue it.

It’s unclear how much damage was caused but fire fighters say right now the home is unlivable.
