SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) Americans love peanut butter. The National Peanut Board says every year we spend nearly $800 million on peanut butter. And when it comes to creamy or crunchy – the NPB says 60% of Americans like their peanut butter to be smooth.

Creamy peanut butter has a touch more protein per serving (2 Tbsp). 8.0 grams vs. 7.7 grams. And more vitamin E. But crunchy peanut butter has less saturated fat – 12% to creamy’s 17%. And crunch has about one gram more of fiber per serving.

So, on this National Peanut Butter Day – what will it be. Creamy or Crunchy?
