Crash involving 9 vehicles and a semi causes delays on northbound I-15 in South Salt Lake City

UPDATE: Officials with the Utah Highway Patrol say all lanes are open at 2700 South I-15 northbound.


SOUTH SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Two large crashes have caused delayed on northbound I-15 near 2700 South Saturday night.

Trooper Dave Hull with the Utah Highway Patrol says a crash involving a semi-truck and five vehicles caused a fifth wheel and four other vehicles to crash.

Hull says a few passengers were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.

Three out of five lanes on I-15 northbound are closed at this time. No estimated time of reopening has been released.
