Corona Arch designated as new recreation trail

Local News

U.S. Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke announced 19 new recreation trails in 17 states, including Utah.

It’s part of his efforts to expand recreational opportunities on public lands and waterways.

The new trails add more than 370 miles to the national recreation trail system.

The new Utah trail goes to the Corona Arch.

The 1.5-mile out-and-back trail is about 14 driving miles from Moab.

This weekend is the perfect opportunity to check out the trails. June 2nd is National Trails Day.
