Combat boots represent Utah’s fallen heroes

FARMINGTON, Utah (News4Utah) – Memorial Day weekend 257 combat boots will represent Utah military members who have passed away while in service since September 11, 2001.

The boots will be displayed at Station Park for the Utah Fallen Service Members Boot Display. Each boot will be showcased with an American flag, military branch flag, name tag and a photo with a bio provided by a family member.

The display was organized by Operation Hero in 2016. The display is available Friday May 25th at 2:00pm through 8:00pm and May 26th-28th from 10:00pm through 6:00pm.

This display gives friends and family the opportunity to pay tribute to Utah military members who have passed away while in service.
