There is reason to celebrate in Holladay, with new developments in the Cottonwood Mall redevelopment project. The project has a new name and an event to spread the word! Amanda Butterfield, Director of Public Relations with Woodbury Corporation, joined Emily Clark, to talk about the project she’s been on since the very beginning.
Butterfield says the Holladay City Council and Mayor unanimously approved the new project. It will include 56 acres of mixed use development, including 20-30 retail shops and 8 feature restaurants. Outdoor enthusiasts will be thrilled with the 1.2 mile walking trail around the perimeter of the development where they can enjoy lots of open green and plaza space. Around 200 single-family homes, Brownstones, luxury condos and Creekside manors will be built.
Tonight, June 15, the community is holding a demo of TGI Fridays. Guests can enjoy activities for the kids, including bounce houses, face-painting, and fun food. All of the cotton candy, BBQ and shaved ice will be FREE! Along with all of the fun activities and food, a local band called, Route 68, will be performing.
