SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – The band CAKE has rescheduled an upcoming performances in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas due to the recent mass shooting.
At least 58 people were killed and nearly 500 more were hurt Sunday night when a lone gunman opened fire on concertgoers in Las Vegas. The shooting became the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.
CAKE was scheduled to perform at the Eccles Theater on Wednesday, October 4. The band has rescheduled that performance to Friday, February 16, 2018.
“CAKE and Live at the Eccles extend their deepest condolences to the families and friends of all the victims, as well as the entire Las Vegas community,” they released in a statement this week.
Tickets for the October 4 show will still be valid at the February 16th show.
Refunds are available for ticket holders unable to attend the rescheduled date. Refund requests should be made by Friday, October 27, 2017.
