WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4 News) – West Jordan Police Department is investigating the death of a baby.

On April 11, police responded to a 911 call reporting an unresponsive child. Police arrived to find a 20-month-old male baby who was not breathing.

The baby boy was taken to Jordan Valley Medical Center and then airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital where he later died.

Police said there was bruising and several traumatic injuries to the child that they deemed “suspicious.” Because of the baby’s injuries, an investigation was started.

Police said Wednesday evening the investigation is still active an ongoing. No arrests have been made, and no names have been released in association with the incident.

This is a developing story. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
