PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (ABC4 News) – A young boy is dead after what police are calling a tragic accident.
It happened at the intersection of State Street and Pleasant Grove Boulevard Monday evening.
Police received a call about an auto-pedestrian crash just after 6 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the body of a 12-year-old boy.
Police said Madsen was crossing Pleasant Grove Blvd. headed southbound when he was hit by a “large construction-type truck” that was making a right-hand turn.
Police said the driver of the truck is cooperating with the investigation and, at this time, drugs or alcohol do not appear to be involved.
