BOUNTIFUL, Utah (ABC4 Utah) -Bountiful City Cemetery now has a new piece of art work. The City of Bountiful and Scott Streadbeck Sculpture installed a larger than life-size sculpture entitled “Close to Heaven.”

The sculpture was placed in the northern part of the cemetery. It will reside in a section of the cemetery that has been set apart for infants. The sculpture depicting a mother and father cuddling their young child will serve as a gathering place for those with young children buried in this special section.

The first casting of this sculpture was installed in the Lehi Cemetery in 2015, also in a special section set aside for infants.
