Both missing juvenile siblings out of Salt Lake City have returned home

UPDATE 9/15/18 at 10 a.m. – Salt Lake Police have confirmed both juveniles are now home. 


UPDATE: Alisa has returned home safely. Police are still following leads on her missing 12-year-old brother Richard Ortega-Lara. 


SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) Police are looking for two missing and possibly endangered juveniles out of Salt Lake City.

Police said the Alisa Garcia, 13, disappeared Thursday night and her brother Richard Ortega-Lara, 12, disappeared sometime Friday morning.

Police say Alisa has a history of mental health issues and needs medication. She was last seen wearing a black windbreaker and dark jeans. 

Richard was wearing khakis, a white polo, and a dark blue sweater. Police say he was last seen in the Jordan Park area (1060 South 900 West). 

No other information was given about the siblings or the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
