UPDATE: On Monday officials with the St. George Police Department confirmed they have located and recovered Matthews’ body.
At this time they say her death is not suspicious.

ST. GEORGE, Utah (News4Utah) Police in St. George are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 23-year-old last seen Wednesday, June 20th.
Amanda Matthews was last seen near the Tuweap Trailhead.
She is described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
It is not known what she was wearing when she was last seen or if she was prepared for outdoor conditions.
Anyone with information concerning Matthews is asked to call St. George Police at 435-627-4300.
