EMERY COUNTY (News4Utah)- Crews in Emery County recovered the body of a 48-year-old hiker Monday after police say he never returned from a midnight hike.

Officials say they found the Carbon County man’s body in the Swinging Bridge area with the help of the State DPS helicopter.

The circumstances behind his death were not released.
