OGDEN, Utah (ABC4 News) – Weber State University is bringing Bill Nye “The Science Guy” to town on April 3rd.
Tickets for the original location, a 1,400 seat auditorium, went on sale Wednesday and they sold out within 30 minutes. Now, in order to accommodate a larger number of fans, Nye’s lecture will be held at the Dee Events Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Weber State students can pick up two free tickets at any Weber State ticket office from now through March 13 with a valid Wildcard ID. A limited number of tickets are available to the community for $10 and you can find a link here. All seats are general admission and no exchanges or refunds are available.
Nye’s appearance is part of this year’s Engaged Learning Series, which is a university-wide series of events designed to engage everyone on and around the campus in discussion, debate, dialogue, learning and action around an issue of public concern.
