SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) – Today, volunteers braved the cold in Salt Lake City to kick off the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah Donation Drive.
The organization, along with volunteers from Youthlinc, went around the neighborhood to collect used-items donations from the community. The goal for Youthlinc is to collect 140,000 lbs of donations such as books, clothing, toys and other items.
If the goal is reached, the organization will be given $35,000 to help support other projects within the organization.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters donation drive will continue every Saturday through April 7.
