Argument between roommates ends in shooting, victim critically injured

KEARNS, Utah (News4Utah) – An argument between roommates ended in a shooting Saturday morning in Kearns. 

Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke said the shooting happened at a home located at 4363 W 5150 South around 6:30 a.m. when two roommates were engaged in an argument and one of the men shot the other twice. 

The 29-year-old victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The suspect is still outstanding and police are attempting to locate him. 

Investigators were looking for a convertible 2004 Chrysler Sebring but it was found parked outside a residence in the area but the suspect was not at the home.
