UPDATE: There are still traffic delays and access restrictions due to the water and gas break in some American Fork areas.
However, water should be back on within the hour and the gas is back on for most areas except 80 east from 1120 North to 1340 North.
The city says the gas company is working on making repairs and the Jr. high school should have gas and water now.
AMERICAN FORK, Utah (ABC4 News) – Residents in some areas of American Fork will be without gas and water, for at least the next 12 hours, due to water and gas line breaks.
The break happened on 1120 North near American Fork Jr. High School and is impacting homes from 1120 North to 1300 North.
ATTENTION: A water and gas break on 1120 N near AF Jr. High will mean homes in the area of 1120 N to 1300 N will be out of gas and water for 12 or more hours.
