AMERICAN FORK, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Police have made an arrest in the death of a 47-year-old American Fork man.

Thursday, investigators arrested Jace Zeeman, 27, after he allegedly assaulted and killed 47-year-old Brandon Bourgeois.

American Fork police say officers were dispatched to an “assault in progress” at home on August 27. When they arrived, they found Bourgeois unconscious and not breathing. Bourgeois was rushed to a nearby hospital where he remained on life support for several days. On September 1, Bourgeois’ family chose to take him off life support and he died of his injuries.

Zeeman was arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail on charges of manslaughter.
