American Fork police apologize for ruining 420

AMERICAN FORK, Utah (News4Utah) – American Fork Police Department extended its “sincerest apologies and condolences” after the seizure of a large quantity of marijuana Thursday night. 

The department said officers investigated a case that resulted in the seizure of 35 pounds of marijuana. It is estimated to be worth about $56,000.

“Our officers are thrilled to have prevented this from being sold in our community!” read a post on Facebook.

The department said this is another example of its officers continuous and proactive efforts to better the community.

“Unfortunately, this may ruin tomorrow for a lot of people (04/20.) Our sincerest apologies and condolences if we have disrupted any plans…”
