WEST JORDAN, Utah (News4 Utah) – A man was arrested Friday after police said he returned to his prior work place where he had been recently fired and stabbed one of their employees.
According to arresting documents, 20-year-old Ryan Andrew Grover had been terminated after an argument he got into with another employee at an industrial plant located at 9258 S Prosperity Way.
Grover returned a week later with a 4″ knife and stabbed the man he had been in the altercation with.
“At this point several employees had taken the suspect to the ground and where able to get the knife away from the suspect without any further incident,” said the report.
During Grover’s arrest, police found a glass marijuana pipe and a baggie of marijuana inside his front left pants pocket.
The victim in this case had two very small puncture wounds to his chest and stomach area but did not want or need any medical attention.
Grover was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on one count of aggravated assault and two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and possesion of drug paraphernalia.
