A person transported to the hospital after RV fire in Ogden

OGDEN, Utah (News4Utah) – One person has been transported to the hospital after an RV fire in Ogden early Monday morning. 

Fire crews from Ogden City Fire Department responded on an RV fire at 2:59 AM near 355 W. 12th St., according to authorities.

Upon arrival crews found an RV parked behind a commercial business fully engulfed in flames. Officials said the fire was quickly extinguished but one person was transported to a local hospital.

There were no other injuries reported with this incident. Investigators are still on scene identifying the cause of the fire, official said. 

The damage however, is estimated at about $40,000, according to authorities.  Adjacent structures did not sustain any fire damage as a result of the fire.
