3 people shot during incident in Ogden, police searching for suspects

OGDEN, Utah (News4Utah) – Three people were injured in a shooting that took place in Ogden early Sunday morning.

According to a press release issued by the Ogden City Police Department, officers were called to the 200 Block of 25th Street at 12:35 a.m. on reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found three males who had been shot. Two of those men were transported to area hospitals and the third declined treatment. All wounds were superficial and do not appear to be life-threatening. 

Investigators with Ogden City and Weber County CSI are continuing to piece together what happened and are following up on potential leads on suspects. 

The initial investigation shows an altercation took place inside a local business and spilled out into the parking lot where the men were shot. According to a witnesses, the suspects were seen getting into a car and driving away. 

Police believe the incident is isolated and there is no threat to the public.
