WEBER COUNTY, Utah (News4utah) – A 29-year-old man died after a single-vehicle rollover early Monday morning in Weber County.

Weber County deputies came across an SUV that had rolled several times on a dirt road about 3:15 a.m. in the area of 200 S. 7500 W. in rural western Weber County.

While investigating the crash, deputies located a 29-year-old male, who had been ejected from the vehicle, lying in a ditch about 25 feet from the vehicle. He has since been identified as 29-year-old Charles Mitchell Tanner of West Weber.

Deputies began emergency treatment on the male until medical personnel arrived. He was flown by helicopter to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Traffic investigators determined speed to be a factor and the man was also not wearing his
seatbelt. It is not known how long it had been from when the Deputies found the man from the time of the crash.
