VERNAL, Utah (ABC4 News) – A man was found with stab wounds in his Vernal home suspected to be inflicted by his son, authorities say.
The victim got into an argument with his son, identified as Tristan Olsen, at their home located at 930 North Vernal Avenue when officials say the argument escalated into a physical confrontation.
During the altercation, police say Olsen stabbed his father multiple times leaving him with stab wounds to his torso, arms, and shoulder.
The father was transported to the Ashley Regional Medical Center Emergency Room and was later transported to another hospital in Salt Lake City for additional treatment.
Authorities say, the father is now in stable condition and is recovering. The son has been booked into the Uintah County Jail on second-degree felony charges of attempted homicide.
