18-year-old killed in crash on Mountain View Corridor identified

UPDATE: The woman killed in the crash on 6200 South Mountain View Corridor Wednesday has been identified by West Valey police as Talia Littlefield, of Tooele.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) –  Police responded to deadly crash in West Valley City Wednesday night. 

The crash happened at Mountain View Corridor and 6200 South. Police said a car traveling westbound on 6200 South ran a red light.

A southbound driver hit the passenger side of the vehicle driving westbound, according to police.

An 18-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car driving westbound was pronounced dead at the scene. Drivers of both vehicles were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The name of the victim who has died has not yet been released. Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
