18-year-old accused of sexually assaulting fellow student

MAGNA, Utah (News4Utah) An 18-year-old student is in custody for allegedly sexually abusing a younger student on a school bus that was on it’s way back to Cyprus High School from a field trip.

Granite School District officials say the 18-year-old male inappropriately touched a younger girl while on the bus.

Both students attend Cyprus High School.

Officials say more than 40 students and five adults were on the bus at the time of the incident.
