170 Utah children are waiting for their wish to be granted

Local News

Make-A-Wish Utah is working to make sure every eligible child has a wish come true.  Now they’re partnering with Diamonds Direct for a month of giving.

The mission of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Make-A-Wish Utah is granting more wishes than ever before, but there are still over 170 Utah children waiting for their wish to be granted.

Adalyn was diagnosed with a congenial cardiac condition that qualified her to receive a wish.  Adalyn loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Moana and dinosaurs. Naturally, she decided her one true wish is to go to Walt Disney World.

You can help Adalyn and other children waiting for their wishes by taking part in a month of giving throughout October.

Make-A-Wish Utah and Diamonds Direct are partnering up to raise enough funds to grant one wish. Diamonds Direct will donate $100 off all engagement ring sales and sales from the company’s specially-curated Make-A-Wish themed collection.

Diamonds Direct will feature Make-A-Wish themed jewelry in the Murray location.  Pieces include: diamond star pendants, birthstones jewelry and personalized jewelry.

Customers are encouraged to come into the store to make a donation to Make-A-Wish Utah, independent of a purchase as well.
