Local News

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) Tour de Brewtah is Utah’s premiere Bike & Brewtour, this year it’s invading The Gateway.

Event Producer Kelly Schaefer joined ABC4 News at Midday to talk about why this is an event you don’t want to miss.

The Tour de Brewtah offers ten “Spaced-X” routes, ranging in distance from six to 29 miles along the Wasatch Front showcasing 28 of Utah’s craft breweries, distilleries, and cideries.

New this year, for cyclists & non-cyclists alike,  the “Launch” of The Tour de Brewtah Local Beer Festival is happening at The Gateway’s Olympic Legacy Plaza from noon to 7 pm.

Over 20 of the 2019 participating brewery products will be available to sample. The Festival open to all ages and admission is free.

To celebrate “May the Fourth” and it’s 10th annual space theme, a “Mos Eisley Cantina Party” will be held at Clark Planetarium at The Gateway from 8 pm to 11 pm. Tickets are required for this 21 + after party, and available at www.tourdebrewtah.com.
