TOOELE COUNTY (News4Utah) – A 10-year-old boy died in a scuba diving accident in Blue Lake Wednesday.
The Tooele County Sheriff’s Office said the boy was diving with his father who is certified.
Officials said the child was breathing off an accessory line from his father. The boy ascended too quickly and began to suffer physically.
Emergency crews were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead.
Blue Lake is about 25 south of Wendover on the Utah/Nevada border.
