Hurricane man arrested on harassment, sex abuse charges


MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. (News4Utah) – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a southern Utah man who is accused of harassment and sexual abuse.

Dennis Lewis Sanders, 52, of Hurricane, faces six counts of harassment and one count of sexual abuse, all felonies.

On Monday, deputies said a woman reported that several woman had claimed to be harassed by the manager of a business. 

Most of the women alleged that they had been inappropriately touched by Sanders or that he had made inappropriate comments about their appearance on several different occasions.

After collecting multiple reports from the women, Sanders was contacted at the business and he claimed it was a “he said, she said” situation and denied the allegations.

Dennis Lewis Sanders was arrested and booked into the Mesquite Jail in Mesquite, NV. The investigation is ongoing.
