Hershey’s first redesign in 125 years includes emojis


HERSHEY, Penn. (ABC4 News) Change is coming to an American chocolate icon.

Hershey is re-designing its flagship chocolate bar. For the first time since the Hershey Bar launched in 1900, it won’t feature the company’s logo on its milk chocolate rectangles.

Instead, the company will imprint emojis, 25 of them, from the smiley face to the fist bump.
But don’t get too excited, or too sad. If you prefer the classic design, it’s only for a limited time.

The emoji emblazoned candy bars will come in both standard and snack size varieties starting this summer.
