SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) Governor Gary Herbert signed 20 more bills into law Wednesday.  Among the legislation signed was House Bill 201
It makes it so teachers won’t be evaluated in part by how their students perform on SAGE tests or year-end assessments.
Former teacher Representative Marie Poulson was the bill’s sponsor. She says it’s not fair to use test scores for decision on dismissal, tenure or evaluations.
The governor has now signed 228 of the 475 bills from the 2016 legislative session.
