Good4Utah Junior Reporter Interviews Harlem Globetrotter

The Good4Utah Junior Reporter is a Saratoga Springs 7th grader who loves basketball and wanted to interview a Harlem Globetrotter.
Caleb Knight, 12, loves hoops so much that he plays on two teams. After a tour of the ABC4 Studios, Good4Utah’s Rick Aaron introduced him to Harlem Globetrotter Buckets Blakes.
Caleb: OK Buckets how long have you been on the Harlem Globetrotters?
Buckets: That’s a great question. This is my 15th consecutive season with the team and I’ve been to 79 countries since I’ve been on the team.
Caleb: Out of those 79 countries which one is your favorite?
Buckets: That’s a great question as well. You know what? A lot of these countries bring a lot to the table. I’m kind of a history buff. I love China because of the history.
Caleb: What are the fans going to see on February 6th at the Vivint Smart Home Arena?
Buckets: Well on February 6th the fans are going to see Globetrotter style basketball. So it’s entertainment/competitive mixed altogether, lots of crowd participation. Amazing trick shots from all over the place, maybe even from a seat next to you in the stands as well as a chance to meet us after the game. We sign autographs before we head into the locker room.
Caleb didn’t go away empty handed. ABC4 gave him and his entire family tickets to see the globetrotters Monday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
