Everything you need to know about the 2017 Salt Lake City Marathon

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) It’s race week. The annual Alaska Airlines Salt Lake City Marathon is Saturday, April 22, 2017.
Whether you’ll be out and about in Salt Lake City this weekend or lacing up your sneakers to participate, here’s what you need to know. 
The event includes a marathon, half marathon, bike tour, 5K run, 10K skate and kids race, so there’s something for everyone. 
This year packet pick-up will be at the FitCon Quality of Life Expo at the Salt Palace from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be no race morning packet pick-up or registration. 
Registration for one of the Salt Lake City marathon’s six events includes free admission to FitCon. 
Start Times
  • Bike Tour – 6 a.m.
  • Wheelchair & hand cycle marathon – 6:20 a.m.
  • Full and half marathon – 7 a.m. 
10K skate – 7:25 a.m.
