This weekend past and present patients of Shriners Hospital will walk and roll in the “Walk for Love” event.

It’s all in an effort to give back to Shriners.

Dawn Wright with Walk for Love talks more about the event. She is joined by Shriners patient Madie with her parents Chris and Rebecca Rowberry.

Madie has a prosthetic leg that she received from Shriners at age 3 when they had to amputate due to limb length deficiencies that were impairing her ability to walk, run, play, etc. She gets a new leg often as she continues to grow. She’s happily without limits now and keeping up with her siblings, friends and neighbors.
