Harrison Ford knocks President Trump on climate change

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) Actor and activist Harrison Ford is taking on President Donald Trump over his stance on climate change.

Speaking to CNN from Dubai, where he’ll be addressing the world government summit to talk about conserving the planet’s oceans.

Ford accused the Trump Administration of trying to dismantle all of the gains that have been made to protect the environment.

Last year, Trump announced that the U.S would withdraw from a landmark environmental agreement. In addition, the U.S. recently contested language supporting a U.N. report on global warming.

Ford was also critical of governments worldwide, saying they are lagging behind when it comes to taking action on climate change.

The actor has long been active in environmental causes and serves as vice chair of the non-profit Conservation International.
