ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – ‘Breaking Bad’ fans listen up! The popular T.V. series could come to life soon on the big screen.

According to The Santa Fe New Mexican, a film that will soon be shot in New Mexico is said to be the adaptation of the wildly popular AMC series.

The movie, ‘Greenbrier’, will track the escape of a man who was kidnapped and is on a search for freedom according to the release.

The New Mexico Film Office announced on Tuesday that a production team would be filming the movie around Albuquerque.

However,  sources with the New Mexico Economic Development Department which provides oversight of the New Mexico Film Office would not confirm or deny the project’s links to ‘Breaking Bad’.

It’s unclear if the original cast will be interested to take part.

The film is said to hire around 300 New Mexican crew members, 16 actors and 450 extras.
