LAYTON, Utah (ABC4 Utah) A Utah man will face multiple charges after a Layton High School student was hit and killed Monday morning. 
Bailee Dibernardo, 17, and a classmate were in a crosswalk when they were hit by truck near 199 N. Fort Lane.
Dibernardo was taken to the hospital where she later died. 
Police say after reviewing the case with the Layton City Attorney’s Office, the driver of the truck, Leroy Clark, will be charged with multiple violations related to distracted driving. 
Formal charges will not be officially filed until the toxicology reports are finished, police say.
