You might know Zerorez as a carpet cleaning company, but they are really getting involved in the community by hosting their 2nd Annual Food Drive for the Utah Food Bank. Jake Stone, General Manager for Zerorez, joined Midday’s Nicea Degering to talk more about how they want to help make a difference.
Stone says it’s so great to be involved in a company that allows them to do these sort of events. And they don’t just allow it, but really it’s encouraged. It’s a giving back mindset that they try to promote all thoughout the company.
This month it’s all about their Food Drive. All month long, when you clean with Zerorez, and make a food donation at the time of service, they will give you an extra room cleaned for FREE. On top of that, the company will donate the food to the Utah Food Bank.
Last year Stone says it was the same deal, and that their customers stepped up big time. They collected over 5000 pounds of food that month. Other Zerorez locations around the country were doing Food Drives too, says Stone. So the company decided to challenge all locations to see who could collect the most food. Salt Lake’s customers won!
Stone says they love helping out while still focusing on what they do best. No residue carpet cleaning. And they love seeing the generosity of the community.
Zerorez hopes to beat what they did last year, so they are inviting everyone to help. For the month of November, Zerorez is charging $33 per room. But if you clean in November and make a donation to your technician at the cleaning, they’ll clean a 4th room for free!
FINE PRINT *Offer valid for appointments cleaned in November. Minimum Service Charge does apply. Max Room Size of 200 Sq ft. Pet treatments are available at an additional cost. Appointments are scheduled first come, first served. Offer may not be combined with any other offer or discount.
