Did Salt Lake City See Economic Growth?

News

2016 was a great year for Salt Lake City when it comes to economic development.

Director of Salt Lake’s Department of Economic Development Lara Fritts says over 2,000 jobs were created in 2016.

Those jobs include local, national and global companies here in Salt Lake City.

Fritts credits the economic growth because it’s now a priority to the city.

Right now, Salt Lake City is putting together a strategic plan to continue their vision and goals by working with their partners.

Fritts says they are working on some programs and initiatives that will help impact small businesses in Salt Lake City.
