CLINTON, Utah (ABC4) – Police have released the identity of the suspect that was shot and killed by police after allegedly stabbing two people in Clinton Thursday evening.

Christopher Anthony Alexander, 32, was shot and killed by police after stabbing a man and a woman shortly after 6:30 p.m.

According to police, the incident started after a man who was temporarily living at the home stabbed another man who lived in the same home.

The man who was stabbed then ran out of the home when a woman in her 50s who lived nearby came outside to see what was going on.

The suspect then allegedly stabbed that woman in the street, according to police.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are expected to recover, police say.

CLINTON, Utah (ABC4) – A suspect was shot and killed by police after allegedly stabbing two people in Clinton Thursday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a stabbing at a home near 1700 North and 1300 West.

According to police, the incident started after a man who was temporarily living at the home stabbed another man who lived in the same home.

The man who was stabbed then ran out of the home when a woman in her 50s who lived nearby came outside to see what was going on.

The suspect then allegedly stabbed that woman in the street, according to police.

Once police arrived at the scene, they saw the suspect running down the street. That’s when officers fired shots at the suspect, killing him. His identity has not yet been released.

The two stabbing victims were taken to a local hospital where their current conditions are unknown. Police say the victims are a man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s, but their identities have not been released.

The incident remains under investigation.

Neighbors tell ABC4 they heard several gunshots.
