Davis County SAR saves lives of Hikers


FARMINGTON, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – The weather almost turned deadly for two hikers in Davis County.

Two men, aged 49 and 51, started hiking in Farmington canyon this morning wearing only shorts and t-shirts.

As they got higher, they ran into blizzard like conditions and they called for help on their cell phone.

Davis county search and rescue found them and took them to McKay dee hospital suffering from extreme hypothermia.

They’re expected to survive.
